Tds on reimbursment of notice pay and relocation

16 August 2012 Dear expert,

I resigned from company X and joined in New Company Y.

Y company paid me following amounts;

1. Notice pay
2. Relocation reimbursement
3. Relocation reimbursement of X company which I had to pay due to leave the X company before one year.

Please let me know, the above reimbursements are taxable or Not.

17 August 2012 1. Notice pay fully taxable

2. Relocation reimbursement - not taxable if it is actually against expenses, if lumpsum payment, it is taxable

3.paid back -in case previously made taxable and repaid with in same financial year, can be adjusted otherwise not taxable also.
