We have received two invoices for professional services from a consultants, one of Rs. 18000/- on dtd. 28-07-2015 & other one of Rs. 17000/- on dtd. 24-08-2015. Should we deduct TDS? If we should on which amount.
You need to deduct TDS u/s 194J as the payment amount is above Rs. 30000(applicable for payment in whole year) at the rate of 10% on the total payment of Rs.35000.
