I am working in company and looking for employee TDs. Two months ago 5 to 10 employees has joined our organization. I have aked him to give details of Taxable income from their respective previous employer but even after aking him so many times, they have not submited details of Taxable income from their previous employer. Now question is that, we are liable for TDs only for payment made by us or even for income of his previous employer? Please reply urgenlty. I will be very thankful to you.

In the absence of any declaration of any other income, salary from previous employer, you are certainly justified to TDS only on the salary paid by you.
