22 June 2015 PLEASE CONFIRM SUBJECT OF TDS IN CASE A TRANSPORTER HIRE AND PLACED MORE THEN 10 TRUCK NOT OWN TRUCK

22 June 2015 Yup, if the transporter is not the owner of more than 10 fleets then no TDS should b deducted. But there must be a declaration attached as a confirmation by the transporter regarding the fleets owned by them.

22 June 2015 yes you have to deduct the tds u/s 194C 2% on company and firm and 1% for individual & huf.

non-pan case @ 20% tds will be deducted
