we are going to make payment of rs 35000 to transporter which attract section 194c but i am confused about deducting tds on transporter. as per the section 44AE if any transporter is eligible for this section no tds has to be made. but how do i know whether the transporter is eligible for section 44AE or not. plz clarify my doubt..

06 June 2015 You will have to take an undertaking from the vendor along with his PAN that he does not own more than 10 vehicles during any part of the year.
