25 April 2013 TDS is not applicable on Electricity Charges. It is a kind of reimbursement for use of electricity. TDS deduction not required.

22 April 2017 Randomly got your question:- although its very old question but still replying for other reference.

If On electricity charges - service charges or service tax has been charged then surely TDS will be applicable.u/s 194C if separate bill.

If included in Rent bill then 194I.

23 April 2017 Dear Ayus Is electricity charges an Income for landlord company? Does landlord company deduct TDS on electricity charges paid to Electricity supplying company?

13 May 2017 Sanjay bhai, If He will act as pure reimbursement mediator then no TDS applies.

But here Landlord charging service tax hence TDS applies.
