Tds on bank interest

27 June 2013 Since my PaN was not updated in bank records ,they haave deducted TDS at 20% & the same is not reflected in 26 AS.Bank has given me form 16A.How do i get the refund back from IT Deptt

27 June 2013 You will have to request the bank to revise their TDS return quoting your correct PAN to enable you to get credit of the TDS amount.

you need to request your bank to revised tds return after than credit will reflect in 26AS and for claim refund.

first do request and then claim
