Please let me know whether we have to issue TDS certificate in new format for the FY 08-09, as per new circular CBDT

01 June 2009 Yes. UTN has also to be mentioned which is mandatory for getting credit of TDS.

01 June 2009 No, For FY 2008-09, you have option to issue tds certificates in old formats. New forms are mendatory from FY 2009-10 onwards.
