18 January 2011 One of my client have received 3 bills for freight on the respective dates:

01/05/2009 Rs.600000 tds deducted @ 2.266%

01/07/2009 Rs.300000 Tds deducted @ 2.06%

01/08/2009 Rs.150000 Tds deducted @ 2.06%

I just want why the surcharge has not been charged on the last two bills

Is there any amendment for the period july to sep regarding surcharge applicabality on TDS.

Pls guide me with some reason
