11 December 2009 how can i caluculate tds- on salary -if employee is not providing previous employer slip by saying that i -dont h-ave

11 December 2009 U just take the written confirmstion from the employee and the salary that u r paying after all deduction etc then u have to deduct TDS else not

11 December 2009 TDS can be deducted on total Salary...if your employee is having employement in other office and in the middle of the year join with you so you just have to deduct TDS on Current Employement not Including Pre. Empl...
otherthing If your Employee was in your other branch so you need to Know about Prev.Salary before you join..you can get that data from your other branch too.
otherwise no need to deduct TDS on Prev. employement.
