08 December 2014 if in any particular month tds is not deducted say u/s 194J as the bill amount is not exceeding the limit of 30000. later on the same party has raised bill , at this time the amount is exceeding 30000.
my question is whether earlier bill's Tds can be paid now alongwith the tds against the current bill.if yes then will interest on tds will have to be paid against earlier bill?

08 December 2014 For earlier bill's TDS can be deducted now if the total value of the bills exceed Rs 75,000. No need to pay interest for the earlier bill.

08 December 2014 75000 limit is for what ?

08 December 2014 75000 limit for the whole year and 30000 limit for each bill.

08 December 2014 Sorry for interrupting in between but the limit of 75000/- is for the purpose of Sec 194C and not for 194J.

08 December 2014 I fully agree with you thank you.
