19 September 2012 Is there is a need to Deduct TDS on Payment of more than 80000 in a year to a Transporter.

19 September 2012 If the transporter has a PAN, then there is no need to deduct tax irrespective of the amount being paid. if PAN is not there, tax has to be deducted @ 20%.
