If your ESOP were received last year or before, it would have been taxed accordingly.I think you are interested in knowing the tax on its transfer now. If the co is indian: it would be LTCG now, so it would not be taxable, so enjoy the gain. If the co is foreign: it will be same as above assuming that the co is listed in a recognized stock exchange & You are resident in India
