14 March 2012 Hello,
I was in UK from 29 feb to 30 june 11 and before that i never gone outside India. It was actually internal company tfr. I earned salary there and paid tax in UK also and after that i transferred back to India. now my question is 1.) DO I need to show my UK salary in india in ITR filling. 2. if yes then what will be the tax impact of UK in India which is already in uk or i have to pay again tax on UK income in India.

15 March 2012 You will be Considered as ordinary resident hence global income is taxable.
but you need not pay Double tax so first calculate the tax as per Indian tax law and then take the credit of the tax paid in the U.K.
(refer the DTA Agreement between India and UK for more information)
