I have Cleared my PE 2 and i am currently pursuing my articles in a big four in Audit. I have also done my Graduation from SRCC, Delhi in BCom.Hons.
I am not liking audit too much and i was contemplating of moving to tax (Direct taxes/M & A),of which i have an offer at hand in a big 4 again! From the feedback i have got tax is understood to be very limiting and it is difficult to move out of tax into an alternative career.But i am not keenly interested in tax either and i am not sure whether i would like to pursue tax further after getting my charter. What are the possible career opportunities after doing tax, are there any possible openings in industry (say FMCG) after doing articles in tax. what is the scope of international secondments? scope of an MBA after TAX articles and which is better tax vs audit in the light of internatinal secondments/MBA/Future openings in the industry!
