Dear Experts,
in case if any non residents(Indian origin) made FD with his NRE A/c. through convert us dollar in rupee & after some year FD has been matured in NRE a/c.Interest received at the time of maturity on this FD is taxable or Exempt in NRI's hand.

Till date interest on NRE account is tax free.
