I like to know about the tax slab for 60 years retired employees?

Dear Ajay,
The tax slab for senior citizen above the age of 60 years for FY 2014-15 is as under,
Upto Rs. 3,00,000 of income = Zero
From Rs. 3,00,001 to Rs.5,00,000 = 10%
From Rs. 5,00,001 to Rs.10,00,000 = 20%
Above Rs. 10,00,000 = 30%
Note: If Total Income of assessee exceeds Rs.1 crore addition surcharge on tax @10% will be applicable.
