My brother wants to file tax return for a loan purpose.His total income is 140,000.He has the PAN card.Can he file the return ?

PAN is for all india purpose. PAN holder can file his/her Income Tax Return at any place/city of india.

You are advised to file your return electronically. It is hassle free. You will not have to worry about the jurisdiction in which you can file the return. You will have to send the signed copy of acknowledgment to CPC Banglore by ordinary post.
