Can a Tax Consultant be appointed as an Auditor of a Pvt Ltd Company?

11 June 2014 thanks, but the person in not CA & not a practicing CA as well, he is a STP,ITP qualified with Bcom Qualification, so can he become a Auditor of a pvt ltd company with these profession?

11 June 2014 No, in that case he is not eligible to b an Auditor. In India only a CA holding COP is eligible as an auditor.
