12 August 2009 difference b/w salary and remuneration?

12 August 2009 In general salary means , the base salary + DA + TA + any other special allowances given.
Also it is pre define as terms of employment.

Remuneration generally includes salary and also any other component paid as bonus, commission etc. It is a very wide term. It is also not pre define. It can be vary from time to time and also on the basis of specific work or performance.

Also note salary will be given to employees, whereas the manager/MD will be awarded by remuneration.
