Whether T.D.S. to be deducted on Interest paid by a company to Private Ltd Banks whether Scheduled or Non-Scheduled Bank?

19 September 2009 i think all banks are covered under section 51 of the BR act , and 194a specifically excludes banks , so i guess no tds applies. kindly check 51 of the BR act for more clarification
