03 August 2011 An assessee have taken his service tax registration manually and now he wants to surrender one of his service. what all are the steps to be followed?

Dear Sunand,

Write a letter to service tax dept (jurisdiction officer) and submit ST-2 original copy along with last 3 years returns in dept and take a surrender receipt of service tax letter for your records.

If AO or ST Dept not accept it. Apply for online user id & password then cancle it online.
