17 March 2012 can minor become a witness at the time of subscription of shares....i.e. has he authority to sign as witness on subscription page at the time of incorporation of the Company?

No. A minor cannot be party to a legal document and being a witness to a document is a legally binding action.

A minor is not eligible to enter into a binding contract.
