20 January 2014 what is intrinisic value ofshares ...

20 January 2014 Intrinsic value of share may be said as the present value of the future streams of income that are expected from share discounted at appropriate rate. In this case market rate is not considered.

In case of options, intrinsic value of share is the difference between the strike price and the market price or zero, whichever is higher.

If any transaction costs are expected, such costs are deducted.

Thanks!
