Stamp duty on sub-division of shares (bangalore company)

I want to know that on the sub-division of shares are we liable to pay stamp duty when we issue new shares in lieu of existing shares. Our company is Bangalore based company.

Please tell me as soon as possible.

31 August 2012 Once stamp duty is paid on issue, then it is not payable on Subdivision/Split....
