22 December 2012 I want to know that is there any stamp duty levied on allotment of shares in a company, if yes then what is the rate of it and what is the procedure to payment of it , is it payble manually or online?

24 December 2012 if the company's registered office in jaipur (rajasthan) then what is the rate of stamp duty?
And can i know why we have to pay the stamp duty on allotment because we have already paid stamp duty on authorise capital?

Please navigate the official website of ROC (mca.gov.in) and know the amount payable as stamp duty for issuing share certificate in Rajasthan.

Stamp duty paid for fixing Authorized Capital and stamp duty for issuing share certificate are two different.
