Ssi units exemption and filing declaration

Dear experts
pl explain me what is the SSI exemption provided by Central excise department for the goods falling under excise duty . At which turnover the said units need to file the declarations.Pl respond in a detailed manner. Ours is running unit.

SSI exemption available to all units upto 1.5cr turnover. You need to intimate to the excise department on 90 lakhs.
