01 January 2011 If Turnover of Any manufacturing unit exceeds 1.5 crore than will it loose the exemption if SSI Unit...

If same is the case than it has to take credit of capital goods 50% in the current year and balance in the next year ?

If turnover of a manufacturing company is 20 crore than how it can avail the credit of capital goods..Please respond.

the basic exemption of excise duty is 1.5 crore. up to the 1.5 crore no need to take the excise registration .

further the actual excise exemption for SSI unit is 4 crore not 1.5 crore.

to avail the credit of capital goods 50% for the current year.

and balance next year.
