Dealer having turnover below 400 lakhs are called SSI. I want to know is there any advantage given to SSI in law as compared to dealers having more turnover than 400 lakhs?

Sir, As per my understanding, any dealer cross the limit of 1.50 crore, he requires to take registration under excise act. so, what I understand from your reply is that dealer with turnover excess than 1.50 crore not registered is called SSI. Pl confirm whether it is ok...

Sir, Any unit whose turnover is less than 4 crores in previous year are eligible for the concessions. I want to understand what concession are available to such ssi units? If it is mandatory to get registered once clearances cross the threshold limit of 1.50 crores then how can any unit continue to be unregistered upto turnover of 4 crores? Please explain sir.

Exemption is not available for Dealer. If dealer is passing Excise duty then need to register with central excise other wise no need to register with central excise even if sale turnover is more than 4cr.
