Short term capital gain tax saving

16 March 2012 Dear Friends, Is there any way to avoid payment of short term capital gain? I bought one home before 2 years back & now I am selling this home & will earn profit of Rs. 10 lacs. Is there any way to avoid tax on short term capital gain?
please suggest me
