my client is trading in building material supply(sand,metal,rubble etc.) He has purchased a truck for loading & unloading of material. Can he claim vat setoff against on truck puchased.

Yes, Set off of amount of VAT charged in tax invoice of of purchase of truck used for business is allowable under the provisions of MVAT Act/Rules.
