30 August 2013 Is service tax registration necessary for an entity that provides a service which is not taxable as per "Point of provision rules,2012" ?

The value of services exceeds Rs. 10 lakhs.

Please reply. Its very urgent.

31 August 2013 I agree with Expert that if you are provided exempted services which are under exempted list then no need to register under service tax,. However, registration is must, if you are providing non exempted services and your annual turnover is under the exemption limit during the year.
