Service tax on residentail porperty

31 October 2012 Dear Sir,
I have paid x amount to builder against service tax @3.09% on sale proceed. How could i confirm that the said amount has been deposited to govt. acount by builder. It might be possible they are collecting it from us & not depositing the same. Builder is FIRM.
