pls tell me is service tax applicable on job work cutting of coil from job worker he is showing service tax on invoice tell me both cases 1-if we are mfger 2-if we are registered as dealer
When job work done is amounting to manufacture for the main principal party and if he pays excise under central excise or state excise, there is no service tax.
The current negative list is an opening for GST and therefore when there is an excise there is no service tax.
