I had applied for service tax number through ST-1 form online. The number alloted to me is Pan no.& SD001. I want to ask why they have not provide me the no.ST001

Service tax Department has also started issuing Service Tax no....PAN followed by SD001...or ST001...its depend on type of services in which you are providing... your no is valid...and there is no problem...
