11 October 2013 Can anyone pls explain me detailed concept of service tax input credit ,like
what exactly it meant ?
when we can claim such credit?
wt is the intention behind introducing this concept?..........

11 October 2013 Service tax input credit means credit of service tax paid on input services for payment of output service tax.
One can claim on basis of an invoice
The intention of introducing is avoiding cascading effect of tax. it means that you pay service tax on the Value addition you make
