Service tax applicable?

07 February 2013 I recently sent an invoice to a client.
however, the amount has been changed and a invoice sent. so do I still pay service tax on the 1st invoice or only on the revised invoice?

07 February 2013 In case of change in invoice amount u need to issue debit / credit note. Service tax wont be applicable twice then.. In case of debit note note further service tax would be applicable on differential amt, in case of credit note service tax can be adjusted if paid...

Hope this would settle the issue...
