A is doing job work for B. Both are also manufacturer.Who is liable to pay service tax? A or B?,Request to experts share their idea/reply/comment.

As it is a work contract., both A and B will be liable to pay service tax @ 50 and 50% but if the net receipts of a is less than 10 lacs in last year., he need not collect the service tax., and b will be liable to service tax only if he is a body corporate
