can we get deduction U/S 80C of hostel fee of children.i paid 1800/-p.m to three children.

10 January 2014 Any allowance granted to an employee to meet the hostel expenditure on his child; a deduction of Rs.300 per month per child (up to a maximum of two children) is allowed u/s 10.
