Respected Sir/Madam, I have received an notice of 148 but I couldn't filed the return within given period. Can I file it after the expiry of notice ?

yes you can file after 30 days also.. generally period of 30days is given by AO.. if notice is for AY 2011-12 then 31.12.2018 is time barred.
