pls let me know power of A.O regarding inquiry of source of the source of Income/loan for A.Y.2010-11. also give relevant section & amendment asap...

Under scrutiney assessent , an AO can gather all the required informations. He can issue notices to submit the required documents under sec 142(1). If an assessee do not comply with such notice or do not coperate in the assessment procedure then the AO can start the best judgement assessment u/s 144.
