SIR I HAVE COMPLETED MY GRADUATION IN COMMERCE AND ALSO PURSUING POST GRADUATION IN MANAGEMENT AND PURSUING CA IN MUMBAI. I HAVE COMPLETED MY ARTICLES AND NOW I WANT TO START MY CAREER BY PUTTING PRACTICE AS INCOME TAX + SALES TAX PRACTICIONER. WHAT ARE THE EXAMS NEED TO BE PASSED + ONLY GRADUAITON DEGREE IS ENOUGH FOR THOSE TWO PRACTICES ...PLEASE DO EXPLAIN THE SAME IN DETAILS... THANKS & REGARDS .. ASHRAF ALI

Mr Ashraf Ali, Being a B.Com. degree holder you can apply for enrolment as a Sales Tax Practitioner,under Sec 86 read with rule 168 & 169 of KVAT Act and rules,in VAT form545 along with copies certificates and a fees of Rs1000/-(Treasury paid challan)to Commissioner of Commercial Taxes in Karnatka,if you are in there.If elsewhere,accordingly,respective Vat Act and rules permit commerce graduates to practise as STPs.
