salary from world bank to N.R.I (> 182 DAYS STAY ABROAD)

does an indian employed by world bank to work abroad for more than 180 days in short breaks during one financial year needs to pay income tax in india or is the income is exempt.IF YES THEN 1) BECAUSE WORLD BANK SALARY IS EXEMPT OR 2) BECAUSE THE INDIVDUAL HAS RESIDED ABROAD FOR MORE THAN 180 DAYS. if it is not exempt but taxable then at what rate payment is to be made.

05 March 2011 If the Indian is abroad for more than 182 days then the salary is not taxable in India.
