While calculating the salary for determining professional tax, the salary should be after deducting leaves taken
For e.g.
Basic salary = 10800 p.m.
Leaves taken=9 days
Salary per day =30rs.
Leave penalty =270 rs.
So,
The salary for prof. tax should be 10800
or
10800-270=10530
??
