26 January 2014 sir, a employee have 300000 salary and his liablity to pay tax is 10000 & this tax is paid by employer that what is its effect ?, is the employee pay tax on 10000.

If TDS liability is met by an employer then same amount should be taxable too & TDS to be paid on the same by grossing up TDS paid on Taxable income.
