20 November 2014 In service tax under reverse charge is it mandatory to make payment to vendor for the bill through bank i.e. through cheque than only service tax liability will be created in the books.

20 November 2014 The condition is payment. Mode of payment has not been specified. You can pay through cheque or demand draft or cash.
