I have tried so many in respect of a client whose password is required to be reset.The password is still going to the Registered e mail. My client is not in a position to provide password, as it is not known to him. Further, the client has never e filed.
How the new option to reset password to New Principal contact works?

Now the department has changed the procedure to send re-set password and the password is send to the registered email id only. So get the password from where previously your client given his return of income to file other wise contact Efiling administrator other option not available to you.

The only solution is that registered your client under DSC and there you can reset the new DSC and continue filing of returns therefrom.
Otherwise you have forgot your password and try to reset from that Option.
