29 March 2016 I have paid the Rent in cash so whether it would be eligible for exemption? is there any provision regarding payment of rent in cheque for the exemption of HRA?Thanks in Advance

29 March 2016 No there is no problem in payment by cash for house rent but you have to take rent Receipt for HRA Exemption.
