Could you please explain me what is rent free period and how to post the accounting entry for it.
Please explain me the accounting entry with any eg.

28 November 2010 I do not think there is any accounting entry for rent free period. the accounting entry for rent starts only when an obligation to pay rent arises as per the terms of lease deed.
