15 April 2011 what should be the remuneration of the director's of a public limited company ??

15 April 2011 Remuneration of director does not depend on nature of company where as it depends up on the book profit and number of director in any company . In no cases maximum remuneration should exceeds 11% of book profit.
You just provide information about number of director than we will be able to give you correct picture .

18 April 2011 Please refer of Sections 198, 269, 309, 310 and Schedule XIII of the Companies Act,1956 for provisions realting to appointment and remuneration of Directors.
